A sad day. Woke up to my wife in tears over the passing of one of her biggest inspirations. Bisi was a giant. But more than that, she was kind and giving where many of her stature aren't. This is a loss. Reposted from @sugarcanemagazine - It is with a heavy heart to announce that @bisi_silva passed away this afternoon. Ms. Silva was such an inspiration and her work was not only important, she created a space that will be hard to fill. We send condolences to the art community, to her staff, family and, friends.
Dear Friends, this is your heads-up. Signed, Management
