DJing & Music Curation.

Whether behind the decks or curating a playlist, my DJing is cultural pedagogy in motion. I don’t just play: I translate cultural knowledge into experiences and moments that move people both physically and emotionally. What sets me apart is range. Throw me a challenge: I can play a set based entirely on independence-era highlife just as easily as I can serve alté sounds from all over Africa.

Starting in early 2000s London as part of the Amplified collective, I once helped organized events for The Roots and spun for Erykah Badu before moving to Ghana and becoming one of the first DJs to champion Accra’s alternative music scene. My experience spans radio, nightlife, and curated listening experiences, including LO-LIFE: my podcast blending storytelling and music with research into the evolution of Ghana’s alternative music scene.
